Well i had the intent of making this an artist blog… but i haven’t been drawing for some time. Instead, here is some recent vids i recorded.
Indeed, i play lots of fighting games. I tend to like em. I like the effort that ya have to put into it to get better. I also like the head to head feeling. Just you and the opponent, duking it out, and only one winner. Then lather, rinse & repeat
Once there are tournament’s though.. it becomes a different ball game. 2 losses and your out (at least with double elimination), All you have to rely on is your skill and your wit to win. When i play to win, I know that I can lose… So I can try as hard as i can to not make mistakes. There are numerous times when i have played some key matches, & I do that one mistake and that costs me everything. Makes me so bitter…
So why do I do tourneys then? I just like the feeling, the tension, the all or nothing . It’s also a nice way to gauge my skill against multiple opponents of various skills. Also, as I enter more tournaments of a certain game, I get better, and I only keep getting better.
My one gripe with tournaments though… is time.. it takes so long… I can only do so many…
